Welcome to the Old Royalists’ Association of New Zealand (ORANZ), the official community for alumni of Royal College, Colombo, Sri Lanka, living in New Zealand. Our association is committed to fostering strong bonds among Old Royalists and their families, providing a welcoming space for fellowship and camaraderie.

Our Mission

At ORANZ, we strive to create an inclusive environment where members can connect and engage through a variety of educational, cultural, social, sports, and recreational activities. Whether you’re a long-time resident or a new arrival, our community provides opportunities to meet fellow Old Royalists, participate in events, and uphold the traditions of Royal College.

Our Purpose

The primary goals of ORANZ include:

• Fostering Fellowship: We aim to bring together Old Royalists and their families through social, cultural, and recreational events, creating opportunities to form lasting friendships.
• Supporting Royal College: We are committed to raising funds to support the advancement and welfare of Royal College, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Our efforts directly contribute to the educational, cultural, and athletic growth of students at the college.
• Charitable Initiatives: In addition to supporting Royal College, we also engage in charitable activities in New Zealand and abroad. ORANZ invests and manages raised funds to benefit those in need, ensuring positive social impact.
• Representing Old Royalists in New Zealand: ORANZ serves as the official body affiliated with the Royal College Union in Sri Lanka, representing the interests of Old Royalists residing in New Zealand at educational, cultural, and sporting events.
